Recently I've realized that this IS more like tuning. In the past I used to equate it with leaving a trail of breadcrumbs to find your way there... or back.

Anyone else on the 222 these days?

For the last month I've been finding it everywhere. Reading a book, license plates, addresses, clocks, money. I've had these little things before, but this is the most extreme it's every been.

just in case i ever get into SWEDA ( i dont keep a blog to become a famous synchromystic ) i just feel by writing it down i can share it without boring people and i can look back at the patterns to see how or if they reoccur

Truthfully.

I just looked at my cellular phone right now and the date said 1/11/11. It doesn't keep track of the date very well.

and he has this count down to 21/12/2012 and sure enough the counter read... 1111 days to the maya end date..

i had been seeing it for a long time before that but this one took the biscuit...
sure was a sign to me............
I did a ritual that night to make some kind of an event out of the date..
a few days later on the new moon 12/16/2009 my neighbor in the Apt down stairs went totally crazy.. threatened to kill his room mate and was convinced us on the 3rd floor were part of a conspiracy to kill him.. He barricaded him self into his Apt... police raided the building with machine guns an all sorts of madness after i had a confrontation with him on the roof... No one was hurt in the end but my neighbor was in the psyche ward for a few months... He was a meth head too as it turned out.. but the timing was way scary... THis was a huge event in my life that i am still not really over it.......... .
I am amateur at best when it comes to ritual an what it meant to have my neighbor go crazy like that shocked me..
the main theme of my ritual was for protection for what ever seems to be about to come in the world.......

numbers have there own personalities for me these days... Kabbalha and Alister Crowley's books are a good place to start..

I'd say the lesson was that, whatever you try to keep out, only tries harder to get in; you asked for protection and then the Universe gave a demo of what you want protection from. Your ritual backfired, because the insane neighbor thought you were persecuting him, presumably becoz, with his "crazy antennae," he picked up on your ritual and took it personally.

The lesson is simple: what you resist, grows stronger.

Protection spells are no less misguided than any other kind of rituals, because they are predicated on fear, and fear comes from dishonesty. In this case, the dishonesty that says that your person is worth protecting (it isn't); or that your true essence needs protecting and that there is anything to protect it from (it doesn't and there isn't).
