That's the first thing that popped into my head as I was sitting there watching the presentation.

hi

Hi

Im from the UK but im in Australia at the moment and was in New Zealand for a year and a half before that

ive just come along to have a gander really

im not sure but i think i came to the warty theorems podcasts after listening to an early dietsoap podcast - my curiosity then led me to download some WT and over three solitary weeks at a berry farm in Australia i drunk tea by the fire and listened. At this time i was probably at my peak of my interest in conspiracy related/alternative research type things, you know, David Icke, Alex Jones, Red Ice and all that happy stuff. Listening to the WT podcasts has helped ease me out of that enough to get some perspective and, what struck me in particular when i first listened was the idea of just sticking with what you know. Listening to alternative researchers being described as people who just peddled their opinions not the truth and anything you dont know (like reality being an illusion - which i dont know but Icke keeps telling me it is) being a waste of time, well it just made me laugh how true and how incisive that was. The whole idea of the second matrix has really opened my eyes and the also the idea of wanting to be a somebody. ive heard so much good shit coming out of these conversations. Now, 7 months later and being back again at the same berry farm ive taken to listening to the podcasts again by the fire with a cup of tea when really i should be doing some work to earn my food and board.

anyway I thought it about time that i came and checked out the forum

Thanks

Welcome, Tyler

Things are a bit slow at the forum ATM, cause Jason's away for a little while.

If you like his Warty podcasts, you may also want to check out his Vagabond Blues, Stormy Weather and Shooting the Ghost 'casts - give you something new to listen to.

Hello my name is John I am 31 years old. Came across Stormy Weather on podomatic. Became interested in these sorts of things about 15 years ago after some experiences on lsd. Was brought up in aurora co. which is a suburb of denver my mom made me go to a southern baptist church which i never really liked but i had my moments of insight. Dont fit in in the "regular" world which i am sure most of you can relate with. I currently reside in north west iowa a small town called sheldon. The isolation is getting to me. Nothing but christian redneck hick yokels out here. Anyways some of my favorite authors would include Alan Watts and Buckminster Fuller and lots of others. I do not really know why i am here but a part of it is loneliness. I feel like most everyone i know exists in a very small reality especially out here in these corn fields anyways im always up for interesting conversation about anything hope to here from you people or offer my own input where applicable.

Howdy Bredren. :hattip:

Stormy Weather was cool. How do you feel about Warts? (warty theorems)

Warty was a show that helped to get the starting process rolling -- of bringing my alienation home. Stormy (which is what I listened to first) was a show that helped me to see my fear and rage at the alienation. It made me sick.

I know what you mean about not knowing where to start.

Welcome.

It's good to freely admit your nervousness. That is the place to start.
